Coach Dave brings 35 years of coaching experience into his 8th season at Woodridge! In his seven years at the helm, Coach Dave has brought about a post-COVID resurgence to Lititz while leading the green-and-black to five consecutive Division 1 Dual Meet, Divisional and League Championship seasons. In addition to his role at Woodridge, Coach Dave’s resume includes teaching and coaching with the Manheim Summer Swim Team, Manheim Central High School, 5-Star and the Ephrata Tidal Waves winter programs. He is currently the Aquatics Coordinator for the Ephrata Rec Center. Coach Dave’s unique style melds competition, swimmer development and lots of summer fun!

Coach Ava begins her tenure at Woodridge in 2026.  A 2025 graduate from Ephrata High School, she set a half dozen team records as a Mountaineer across a wide range of events.  Ava then headed west where she narrowed her event itinerary, now primarily focussing on the individual medley and breaststroke as a member of the UNLV Rebels women's swimming and diving team.

Coach Jenna spent 13 seasons competing for the Green & Black and 2026 marks her fourth summer on deck helping lead our younger competitors. During her prep years, Coach Jenna swam for 5 Star Swim Club and the Warwick High School swim teams where her favorite stroke was the breaststroke. She was a teammate to Coach Mel in their 2022 League Championships. In addition to swimming, she also was an all-star pitcher for the softball team. Coach Jenna completed her final season as a member of the Shippensburg University Raiders swim team during the 2025-26 academic year, where she competed mostly in the individual medley and butterfly events.  During her time at 'Ship', she also earned the PSAC Scholar Athlete Award.  Coach Jenna completed her undergraduate degree in biology and is currently enrolled in a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree program at Lebanon Valley College.  In her words, Coach Jenna is “excited to watch the kids learn and grow doing the sport that I love.”

Coach Brady is in his fourth season on the Woodridge coaching staff after being a part of the Woodridge swim team for 12 seasons. He also swam for Manheim Township High School for 4 years where he competed mostly in breaststroke, butterfly and the individual medley. He was a 2-time League medalist and District qualifier in breaststroke. He also swam as part of the school and L-L League record-setting medley relay that swam to a 5th-place medal at the PIAA State Championships. He was also a member of the Blue Streaks soccer team throughout his high school career. Coach Brady previously helped coach the Manheim Township Age Group swim program, and this summer he is “super excited to be poolside with the best team and coaches in the league.” 

In May, Coach Brady just graduated from Liberty University where he previously competed on their Triathlon team.  On the academic side, he completed a Bachelor's degree in Corporate and Commercial Aviation and a minor in Unmanned Aerial Systems.  Looking forward to a career in the air, Coach Brady currently holds his private pilot’s and commercial drone licenses.

Coach Cole is in his third season on staff with the Woodridge swim team. A 12-year Woodridge veteran swimmer himself, Cole competed for Manheim Township during his high school years, mostly in breaststroke and butterfly. During this senior season he also helped coach in the Manheim Township Age Group program. He was also a member of the cross country and track & field teams. 

Heading south after high school, Cole attended Liberty University. A member of the Liberty Running Club all four years, he spent the last two as the club's president.  As a junior, he competed at the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association’s National Championships in the half marathon distance. Coach Cole graduated from LU this past May where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Applied Math and Statistics (Actuarial Science concentration), as well as a minor in Spanish, and is looking forward to taking his number-crunching abilities into the insurance or financial fields.

Coach Mel is familiar with the Woodridge Swim Team, having stood on the blocks for 11 seasons. This is her fourth season as part of the Woodridge swim team staff. Now a member of the Bears’ swim team at Ursinus College, she competes mainly in the breaststroke, freestyle and individual medley disciplines. This past winter at the Centennial Conference Championships, Coach Mel joined teammates for a pair of podium finishes in the 800-yd Freestyle Relay (4th) and 400-yd Freestyle Relay (5th).

A 10-year veteran of Five Star Swim Club, Mel also swam for Warwick High School and was part of their 2022 Lancaster-Lebanon team championship. Throughout her career she has earned numerous League-, Conference-, and State-Level accolades. Her favorite events include the 200 and 400 Individual Medleys and 200 Freestyle. In addition to swimming, Coach Mel also competed in cross country and track & field during her prep career. Ever up to a challenge, Mel is double-majoring in biology and Spanish, and upon graduating intends to enroll in an accelerated nursing program to become a Registered Nurse . This summer Coach Mel is “looking forward to making sure every Woodridge swimmer has a fun summer swimming experience.”
